Squeezing good design out of David Miller

Here is a copy of the poster that emerged. It raises questions submitted by the RA group regarding dominion type issues, and uses an iterative process, written in Nodebox, to create an array of question marks which overall create a colour gradient. The often subtle texture of our lives is upon closer inspection made up of many questions.

There are two Charles Cohens actually. The second, who so far as I can tell is not the same as the first, is an experimental musician from Philadelphia. A video of him can be found here and his website is here.
Especially check out the video!
The College runs a program called Dominion for new students, dealing with issues such as drinking, drugs, and irresponsible sexuality. I have been asked to produce posters that pose challenging questions on each of these issues. The timeframe is short.
One idea at the moment is to work in the style of Charles Cohen and photograph groups of students with cutouts of drug or drinking paraphernalia, with slogans like "are you really missing something here?"
However time constraints may prevent ambitious photographic work from taking place, so the results may be more graphic-oriented.
Check back soon for posters!
